Just Saying Hello

Featured Replies

Hi All,

This is the first time that I have joined a Jaguar themed club, despite now being on car number four. I started in 2003 with a 2.5 X-Type, followed by a lovely but rather elderly 3.0 litre S-Type auto, a basic 2.1 X-Type, and now I've just bought a nice 2005 S-Type. I'm working my way through little faults but overall a fine car. So yes I've had experience of the usual issues with jamming door locks, iffy coils, and vulnerable brake pipes on the S-Type, through to dodgy alarms and numerous costly sensors going belly up on the X-Type. However, I have to say that despite all that I love the smaller cars and can just about keep my latest on the road.

As I get time I hope to contribute a bit now and then on the forum.

All the best,

Mark.
