S type wheels on a X type ?

Hi is it possible for me to fit a set of S Type wheels 10 spoke 16" Spirit wheels on to my 2006 X type estate or would I require a set of wheel spacers/ shims ?

has anyone got these already fitted to a X type and were there any issues as I'm finding 18" wheels rather hard on the ride 😁

Hi Philip , i would have thought that they would fit straight on yours without any spacers . I have had s type wheels on my x type with no problems . From memory i think the s type uses a slightly wider tyre profile , i,m sure one of the other members will be able to clarify this . I had the correct tyres on my rims 225 45 17 .
