XJ6 350 enthusiast sought

Featured Replies

Hi There, I a newbie member with a bit of a problem, my dad died earlier this year and left us his beautiful XJ6. My mum has been running the car, still goes like a dream, only apparently it had an oil leak and ran nearly dry. Now it has some sort of gear box problem and waiting for full report from Royles Jaguar in Wilmslow Cheshire. But they said up-front that the problem will probably cost more for them to fix then the car is worth.

Anyway we are hoping that we can find an enthusiast who would be interested to take the car off us and fix it up, it really does not deserve to join my dad in heaven just yet. The car is 3 litre 350 model in blue, cream leather interior is like something from the Titanic! with a couple of minor scrapes on the front wings (he was 85!) on a 54 plate, and has only done just over 80k miles

Happy to post more details of the dealer report when I get it, or message to anyone who is interested

Hi Tim...welcome to the Forum

You are welcome to advertise it through the For Sale section in this forum....would be sad to see it go for spares.

Hope you find someone who will take it on to do up

Cheers,  Trevor
