Hi i have just purchased a s-type jag 2.7 diesel everything good so far but the drivers seat doesn’t seem to go back as far as the passengers and my legs are cramped being 6,3 can this be fixed? I don’t think there is anything stuck in the rails from what I can see. Any ideas be appreciated thanks

Welcome to the club. This is a new one on me as the most common fault with the S Type drivers seat is that it traps the feet and able of backseat passengers if you stop the car and pull the key out before the person concerned can get out of the way. Left my daughter trapped in the back on one occasion that I'm still trying to live down. Ho-hum.

Hopefully someone else in the forum will have come across the difficulty you have and will come forward with a solution. I may also be worth your while checking out some of the other Jag centric forums on the net as they too have a wealth of knowledge and experience available (but not as worthy as this one I hasten to add)
