Adaptor for touch screen unit from standard

Featured Replies

Hi all,

im new here so hello!

i have just purchased a wonderful s type. It has the standard non touch screen display but I have a touch screen from a friend who is giving it to me.

I have read read about the complications of setting up the sat nav and so I'm not bothered by that but is there an adaptor that I can use so I can have full functionality albeit without the satnav?

Basically as I have it for free I would like to fit it without installing the actual sat nav function.

I have had a look and there are two plugs (sorry, I'm not technical!) that come out of the top of the standard unit and only one into the touch screen unit.

Is it possible?

thank you so much!
