Hi all

I was lucky enough to swap my 63 plate 3.0L premium XF for a 2014 XF S Portfolio a couple of weeks ago which is a lovely motor, but a fault seems to have developed in the ACC system. I will be driving along and the screen will flash up radar sensor blocked even when I am not using the cruise control.

When I am using it, I could be driving along nice and calmly when it will start to flash up red along with a buzzer and state driver intervene, then will change to radar sensor blocked and then to IEB system radar sensor blocked. I can then not re-engage the system for about 5 mins. I do disengage it when on slip roads as directed but this is happening when I'm on nice straight motorway with little traffic.

Is anyone aware of any issues or have had similar issues like this? Just wondering what the repair procedure might be as I have it booked in to have the system checked and hope its just a re-calibration. I have a warranty so hope to change system on that.

Also is anyone aware of when Jaguar plan to release the next Sat Nav update. I did purchase the 2017 USB from the website for my premium XF as that car still had maps from 2013 but even that was out of date after taking two days to upload to the car and which was annoying at £174. I did get onto HERE who provides the maps yearly to Jaguar but they said it is down to when Jaguar decide to release the update, I think I upset them when I said if this was Tom Tom then they would be updated free every 6 months. I think with  the prestige of Jaguar they could put more effort into ensuring there where constant updates to the inbuilt Sat Nav.

Anyone got any thought on this?

Have you tried cleaning the sensor on the front of the car. Would seem like a logical place to start!
