XF Key Fob

My XF Displays the message “ smart key  battery low” I changed the battery and it now does not recognise the smart key at all. I have to open the car by key and start the engine by inserting the fob into the ignition. Any answers please? Thanks in advance

Hi Kenny and Welcome to the Club,

I think you will have to re-program the key fob and instructions on how to do this should be in your owners manual. If you don't have one I'm sure one of the XF owner / members will be in touch. If all else fails give you friendly neighbourhood dealer a call they should be able to tell you how to do this over the phone.
