My name is Sean, im from the NW. 

Ive kind of become acquainted with this forum over the last 3 or 4 months, reading up on this and that. Pays to be careful, I hope.

I'm a new owner of an S Type R, a bit nervous with new ownership. I bought a Merc a few years ago and learned an harsh lesson, someone had took the diode out of the engine warning light which was hiding a fault, a worn engine gear and a known merc fault, it cost me an arm and a leg to fix it............so this is why I chose a jag, ive read these engines are good.

Ive a few issues to sort out, undersealing, and minor rust repairs, hoping to get that done soon.

Anyways, good to finally be an owner.
