Jaguar x type diesel non start

Hi I'm having trouble with my jaguar x 2.0 diesel. Last year on the way back from Wales my car kept going into limp mode it was doing this for some time but its finally given up it will no longer start and when you do there is a strange buzzing noise coming from the top of the engine. When you slacken the injector off its stops does has anyone had this problem how did you fix it. Thanks scott

Hi Scott,

I have the same model and a few months ago I had the same problem. Jump started it and replaced the battery. Been fine since.
