Hi all, I'm new on here

I've got  2003 2.1 V6 x type

When I got the car the brakes were shocking, I mean I've had shopping trolleys with stopping power!

Then the time came for the old girl to have an mot and I decided that I'd give her a bit of TLC and replace the brakes

I read an article online about using the Ford focus st225 front calipers and getting bigger discs and better pads and I thought, why not!

So i did the conversion, sourced some good parts (new discs and pads etc)

The calipers are in good condition and work well

The problem is... I've bled the brake system and they still feel spongy... theres no more air bubbles coming out of any if the calipers

Could there still be trapped air in the brake system and its hanging round in the abs pump? Or is there something I haven't done?

Any ideas would be great

Cheers in advance
