Can anyone tell me why more often than not when I turn the ignition on I get an annoying constant beep for about 20 seconds or so then it goes of I've cleaned the reversing sensors. It's a mystery to me

Usually means a fault in the system, typically a sensor not working. Put the car in reverse without the engine running and listen closely to each sensor and you should hear it clicking, if not, it is faulty and needs replacing

Hi thank you so much for your reply and advice. I will have a look as soon as I can. All the very best for now.
