Tapping

Good afternoon

Just getting car back from garage after fitting a second hand engine with 60k miles But to my disappointment it has a tapping noise and it is louder from under the car so have taken it back to the garage and they have said it is piston slap the engine is the 3L ajd7g the engine I bought came out of a Range Rover so the sump had to be swapped over so asking if this is right are could it be something else?
