Good Morning to everyone.

I am a new owner of a 2006 XK ( X150 ) convertible purchased in Aug 21. I have been away for the month of September and very stupidly did not think about the battery on the XK,

which on return, is flat. I have located the positive charging terminal behind the plastic grill and a small silver terminal up by rear light which I assume is negative. When I plug in my Milenco

Trickle charger, the lights flash on and off and I cannot stop them.

I will be grateful for any advise or if you have had the same issue, how you sorted it.

I do realise that I will have setting issues to deal with once battery is back up and running.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Graham.

Hi Graham,

As the battery is already flat you are best advised to disconnect it from the car and then try charging it. You don’t need to remove it just charge it direct to the terminals.

Once charged you will have the windows and park brake to reset.
