Hi Jaguar XE Club,

This is my first post here, so please do forgive me if I have not put enough information into the post.

I've recently moved to the UK, and I am now a proud owner of a 2016 Jaguar XE 2.0D Portfolio AWD - and as you may have expected, I am completely new when it comes to sourcing the right part, finding the right person to help me resolving any issues with my Jag.

I woke up this morning as the police knocked on my door. It appeared that someone shattered my car's driver seat window, and he ended up taking nothing, but left a huge mess behind.

Whilst the insurance company will be taking care of the window replacement, I've noticed that there is a huge tear at the top of the trim next to the driver window. I've been searching all over the internet for the right part, however, all I could find are the set of Front Door Card in Black on Ebay for pretty decent price. But I really wanted to get the trim back to its original condition, and the color that matches with the interior of the car.

So please , may I ask for your advices in this case? ( except for going directly to the retailer who would charge me £1000++) ? I am based in London, and I am more than willing to travel across the country if I can find the right part/right person!

Thank you so much in advance! (and I have attached a photo for your information)

Its your insurance companies responsibility to return your vehicle to its pre existing condition. Not just replace the glass, but thats going to cost next time your insurance is due.
