I'm new to Jaguar ownership and have just purchased a F-Type 3.0 V6 R Dynamic.

When I lock the car the mirrors are not folding in electrically! 

I presumed that this was a standard fitment but wondered if anyone could let me know if this is the fact or maybe an optional extra that has not been added from new.

Check within the vehicle settings on the infotainment screen to see if they have been switched off, that’s if they were fitted in the first place. They were optional, not standard and had to be ordered by the original owner.

Thank you for this info, I have looked through the infotainment screen and can't see an option so looks like they were probably not added as an option.

I just presumed these were a standard item on this model.

 

If you do have the power mirrors fitted already then the default setting is they fold when you lock the doors and unfold when you open.

You can change this from the dashboard when the engine is not running. I hope it helps
