Just got my  self an 2008 x type love it for a start .Up grade for the satnav to 2012 but having problems installing post code, what i want to know is, is the spacer after the first 4 digits or  between each pair of digits.


The space goes after the first part, some have 3 digits....some have 4

Put the space where you would pause when quoting it to someone.

It's a stupid idea as no other map system I have ever used makes you do it

Thanks guys prob solved, Now for the next problem, glow plug warning light came on  after a few minuets driving. Goes out after starting then comes on again . It now as a clunk when i put it in to drive.My garage full up at the moment. Would it be safe to drive it to another garage.

TO hell with it, have a go myself. Degunged the turbo though the air in take, disconected the turbo arm from the actuator, turbo moves fine so put in new actuator, now thy seem to be working as they should. Still in limp mode, hope fully when the garage has fixed my ABS we can sort that out.I hate getting old i just cannot get under the cars like i use to. Sorry about my spelling i just carn`t be bothered to check it. the good side to this is, i do like the jaguar Happy trails guys.
