Hi There

Does anyone know why the traction control light comes on when driving it is annoying when driving on the motorway and all of a sudden the light comes on and slows your speed down and you have to press the reset button above the radio to switch off the light

You would be best advised to have the codes read first in order to get a way forward. My feeling though, is either a wheel sensor/ wiring fault or rusty reluctor ring.

Thank you for that information I was leaning towards the wheel sensor as it seems to occur when the roads are uneven .

On my 2002 XKR the fault was a break in the flexible wires connecting to the hubs on the front. Both sides were faulty.
