XK/XKR AC/Heating blower motor replacement

Featured Replies

My Jaguar Mechanic (from Coventry, England) and has been a Jaguar Mechanic for 40+ years tells me that I need to replace the AC/Heating blower motor. I bought an aftermarket blower. Doesn't fit. 6 1/4 impeller. The factory original is 5 15/16 and says Bosch on it. My Mechanic John says the 6 1/4 will NOT fit the housing. Local Jag dealer wants $600 for genuine Jaguar part. Anyone else deal with this problem? Where did you get a new blower motor other than the local Jaguar dealer. I would greatly appreciate some guidance here.  My JAGUAR is a 2009 XKR bought in Florida some years ago. Sincere thanks for any assistance.

Have a check around the breakers yards in your area for a used one. Check also that the carpets in the footwells are not wet.
