Hi all

These cars never cease to surprise me and I've noticed over the years that if I apply the brakes with anything other than a very gentle touch I get a thud as the brakes apply quite fiercely. I've checked all the usual suspect bushes etc to no avail but I'm sure that i read somewhere that if you jab the brake pedal the brakes give you an extra boost in case you aren't capable of deciding for yourself how fast you want to stop.😒 I can't find any information on this feature and wonder if it can be adjusted or even disabled altogether. 

Any ideas and information most welcome. The car is 2006 3litre Sovereign.
