Good morning all.

I am a new member needing advice please.

I have had this car from new and is serviced regulary kept pristeen as per photo.

My side wing pannel has started going 'bubbly' so decided to put in my garage for last three months (SORN), as weather has been so bad to dry out.

I had a trickle charger onto battery, being a year old,

A few days ago, tried to start car, working perfectly before then, engine tried to turn over, but would not fire. Took to garage replaced all plugs. "Car wil not fire" turns over but will not fire up as you would expect.

My Garage unfortunaty who have served me well on this car does not have time to 'strip' car if required being a relativly small, but excellent garage.Any member have a view on what it could be please?

Keep safe

How have you got on with resolving the non-start issue?
Any more clues as to why it is not firing up?

If the battery is charged and the plugs are new then I assume that checks have been done to see that a spark is present.
Then the only other thing is fuel supply. Sometimes fuel goes stale when a car is left parked for a period of time but 3 months is not that long in the scale of things.

One other option to check out is that there is no rodent damage to wiring while it has been in the garage as this can be a common cause with cars being laid up over the winter

It could be sudden catastrophic failure on the Crank Position Sensor (CPS) which i had on my S Type about 9 months ago.  They're only about £15-20 on ebay so almost worth throwing one at it to see if it cures it.
