Active Dynamics Fault - disappears after restart.

Featured Replies

My new (to me) 2012MY XK Portfolio is showing "Adaptive Dynamics Fault", but the fault disappears if the car is restarted a 2nd time after a short drive.

The battery was original so I've swapped it for a new, fully charged 019 but the fault is still being flagged and goes following a restart after a short drive.

Only thing I've done with the car is to fit a Ctek charging lead in the LH rear light panel.

Any ideas?

TIA

My guess is a ride height sensor playing up. A code reader will confirm one way or the other.

Where in Yorkshire are you?

Thanks @jimbov8

 Code reader on the way.

I'm taking the car to France for a  couple of weeks so if its a BMS/voltage issue, which is my guess, maybe that will sort itself.

I'm in Huddersfield

If you think it’s voltage related then give the battery an overnight charge. If it still happens then it will be a height sensor.
