Please can you help  me!

I have recently bought an XK8 (2000) which I have been in love with for over 10 years and managed to buy it.

I really love the car but yesterday she decided to go into Valet Mode.

After 24 hours, she is still in Valet mode.

My problem is that the remote has never worked and the battery is draining down in the boot.

Plus I have accidently left my mobile in the boot with some food which I can't now recover.

I have tried WD40, Wiggling the key around in the badge keyhole in the rear for long periods..

Also tried new batteries in remote key fob but sadly no sign of life.

Tried all sorts of combinations of locking and unlocking car door with both keys plus

pressing the boot release button under the drivers side various times but again nothing.

I was wondering if I could unlock the boot/Valet mode via the OBD socket or something.

I'm sure the Valet mode was triggered in the period the battery was in a low charge

Could any kind hearted soul have any answers.

Many thanks
