My XF is a diesel. Like most people I'm outraged at the cost of fuel. I had an interesting chat with a mate who has, both and S type and Land Rover Defender.

He told me that one time, when money was tight, he put cooking oil in his Landy and it works perfectly well. With the exception of it smelling like and old chip van!

Has anyone heard of this Or tried it?
