XK X150 rear lights

Featured Replies

Hello there,

I am a brand new member of the club, and have to ask for help for something that possibly been already covered but I couldn’t find the exact same problem listed.

My 2009 XK X150 4.2 had an intermittent error with the offside brake and tail lights-now became permanent. When checking the bulbs I realised that when starting up the lights are working, but as soon as the engine is running they both disappear. The indicator on the same side is working.

I would really appreciate if someone could point me to the right direction.

Thanks in advance

Xander

If the light cluster in question is the one on the tail gate then the most likely problem will be a broken wire in the loom at the hinge point of the tailgate.
