Strange vibration in car at around 1500 - 2000 rpm at 70 +

Featured Replies

Hi,

new to the forum. We have owned an E pace 180D from new  - 2019 - and have done around 50k miles in it, mainly motorway. We actually really like the car so the new fault is some worry. Last week the car developed a really strange rattle/vibration at motorway speeds. At lower speeds no issue, when under no load no issue, when in N and revved hard no issue. It did have the balance shafts changed after only 5k under warranty so has the problem returned or one of timing chain, bad fuel or other. I am loath to take it the dealership as I know the answer - open your wallet and we will have a look. Can't see it as a common fauly on the forums
