Boot lock wont open electronically on my 2003 jaguar xJ 350 either by remote/dash switch or button on boot it will open with the key is there a fuse for the boot lock as there is non listed many thanks Rod 

Hi Rod and welcome.

There is no fuse. The lock is electronically controlled by the front electronic module for the cabin switches and the rear electronic module for the boot switch.

Most likely cause would be a broken wire in the boot loom at the hinge point.

Hi I have looked at the loom near hinge all seems to be fine also noticed boot light out checked bulb its good thought fuse checked fuse that's alright so I'm at loss thanks for replying Rod
