Hi,

Would there be any interest in a Norfolk meet up on a Saturday in the summer at a suitable venue. If you would be interested let me know. I’m happy to have a go at organising a gathering. Hopefully I’ll hear from some of you in the Eastern region.

Sounds good Ian - just so you (and everyone else is aware) there may be times when i can't make it at the last minute if that alters the numbers any.

When i had my Rover and attended the All Rover Monthly Meet, we used to go to the British Queen at Melbourne. Nice place but a fair hike for me, about 40 miles each way. Knowing you're from west Norfolk (if memory serves) and seeing the comments above from both Terry and Jason, i would make a suggestion of the Jenyns Arms at Denver just south of Downham Market. That seems to be a reasonably central location for those of us who are interested so far?

I’ll put some ideas forward and suggested dates soon. However won’t be Jenyns Arms as I believe that closed a good while back.

Sadly it seems they have departed! Not sure if it has been sold on or what. Another suggestion would be the Foldgate Inn, to the east of Downham on the A1122 where it crosses the A134 - they usefully have a large car park there too!

My day job and workload over last few months has been very busy. So I’m unlikely to time to pull this together. Also verious  Facebook groups seem to have organised Norfolk meet ups. If I find time I wilL try to sort something for us.

I can't speak for the others Ian but i don't do anti-social media so won't be seeing any meets on there.

If the others are the same as me, i daresay we'll all be patient until you've got something organised.

Hi All, My busy period and workload has gone the other way now (in fact I’ll be out a job soon) anyway I do have time now to try and pull this together I hope to sort a venue this coming week and the post details of “Meet Up” which I would propose would be over next six weeks. 🤞

Just wanted to check with you all (and anyone else interested in “Norfolk Meet Up”) is a Saturday or Sunday preferred day.

For me Ian, Saturday is preferable. Obviously i can't speak for the others and i'll go with the consensus.

I’ve posted details of the planned event for Norfolk / Suffolk on Saturday 31st August in the Events section- Hope some of you can come along
