Radio code

Featured Replies

I have just bought a Jaguar Sovereign at an auction and I need the radio code, has anyone got any advice

If you have a friendly local Jaguar Dealer, though scarce on the ground, you can get a code from there associated with your VIN. Alternatively, there are any number of scam artists on the interweb offering to unlock radio codes.

I have the same problem. Mechanic disconnected the battery without realising I didn't have the code. I had assumed there would be one in the wad of documentation I received when I bought the car last January but no luck. Would appreciate any further suggestions to those above. Thanks.

Just telling you what I did, which I found online. Not suggesting it will work for anyone else but what I did was press 3 BUTTONS TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME. Not only did I get access but the radio, which had previously stopped working, 'fired up' and the sound is as good as ever. The buttons I pressed:

FF - A.MEM - PTY. I read that this might only work on models up to 2004/05 and mine is an 06. But decided to give it a try anyway and it worked like a dream. This saved all the hassle and expense of getting the touchscreen unit taken out to get the number of the unit and then paying someone online to send the code which is based on that unit number. Hope this is of help to someone with a similar problem.
