XKR X150 Coolant hose.

Featured Replies

Hello again experts! Another question for you guys, I have a 2008 XKR X150 ( lovely car) that is loosing a small amount of coolant from the large hose on the bottom of the header tank which joins into the aluminium heater pipe , hose is larger on the top than the bottom, has anyone had any success in finding the hose without having to purchase the heater pipe as well! Appreciate your feedback.

TIA Steve H.

Thanks Jim, yes exactly the same fault for me, I will do a similar repair until I can find a replacement hose, I have had this hose off before and it appears fine, I wonder if the spout on the tank softens with the heat and time and is compressed by the clamp? allowing the connection to fail and leak? Such a small issue that would cause a major problem.

I will let you know how I get on.

Thanks again for your help

Regards Steve H
