Greetings to all.  For the last 17 years I have owned and used a Mercedes Vito van, after retiring this year, the van with 220,00 reliable miles on the clock was part exchanged for a 2019 XF Sportsbrake. The car is great, I am still finding my way with it as it is a far cry from a Vito Van!  First long trip tomorrow. Southport to Scotland and back a 500 mile round trip which I am looking forward to.

Hi Everyone I am new to the jaguars owners clud

I have just brought a 1999 Jaguar XJ V8 Sovereign Reg T611 RPL and wanted to understand how this all works. I use Elite Jags & Performance in Derby and have some work like Floor pans replacement and head lining needs glueing etc.

Hi Carl, welcome to the Forum and the wonderful world of Jaguar driving.

Elite are not local to me, but I have heard of others using them with good results. If your headlining is sagging, a common issue, then no amount of trying to glue it back in place is going to make it look better. Go for a proper modern replacement, it's easier than you think. Headliner World, search via your chosen Browser, get good reviews.

Hi all I am a new member and just wanted to say hi all. I am thinking of buying an xf estate in the next six months or so and would like to know what model to choose, any advice would be helpful. Thank you all and a merry Xmas.

Hi Ian, The XF Sportbrake (Estate) is a great car and really spacious - my daughter has one.

In my opinion, go for the petrol engine, unless you plan on travelling over 15,000 miles a year in it. The petrol engines are so much more refined than the equivalent diesel and you should have nil worries about Low Emission Zone compliance.

Highest specification is always a target, maximum number of toys, etc. although they are generally well appointed.
