Hi, the headlining on my 1986 XJ has sagged. I had it repaired once (I think they just stuck it back to the board) but within a couple of days it sagged again.

How can I get back to the original state? Is that possible? Can it be repaired, or do I need to find a spare headlining and install that instead?

If anyone knows an upholsterer in south of England that can do this let me know.

Thanks

I just used thumbtacks lol, but it doesn't sound like he is using the proper glue. If you want to do a self fix you could probably look it up online, I think you take a syringe full of glue and slowly pull the headliner back and inject it as you go. Or you can find a replacement online which is also and easy self installation.
