HI,

IS IT WORTH HAVING A FULL WAXOIL TREATMENT TO THE BOX SECTIONS AND UNDERSIDE OF MY 2003 XJR 4.2?

Hi Barrie,

I see you posted this a while back, you've had more than 200 views but no comment.

About a month ago I bought a 8 year old S-Type V8 Sport, the car has covered 79K miles and with only one owner, it's in mint condition. I had the car inspected by the AA which made comments about some areas of light rust underneath (fuel / brake lines and so-on). So in answer to your question yes, I think a waxoyl treatment would be money well spent.

I found company online which specialises in Land Rover/Jaguar, they're based around London and Leamington Spa, I just need to book the car in. I'll let you know how I get on.

All the best,

Dave
