New Owner Jaguar S Type

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've recently bought a Jaguar S Type which is eight years old but only has 39,000 (confirmed) on the clock and the car is in mint condition inside and out. Can anyone tell me how regular the servicing has to be and if the car needs to go to a Jaguar dealer for service due to the various electronics on board or can I take it to a recommended garage where the costs of labour will be cheaper and the car will have just as good a service as Jaguar dealers supply.

Also how often is servicing required and lastly, is the model prone to any particular types of problems.

Thanks,

Alister

Welcome Alister, I think the service schedule for the S type is 10,000 miles, you have not put what model you have, petrol or diesel, you will need to look under the S Type section in the forum, for the price of servicing you will need to contact garage, good luck and enjoy your cat and the forum. :D
