Hello and before I start like to say what a great forum this is

I bought a Jag S-type 3.0 V6 Auto on a 02 plate a few weeks back from a friend who has had the car from new.

The other day the DSC light came on the dash and stays on with fault.

Now I have had the auto electrician to plug in and tell me what the problem is and its coming back with the brake servo unit?? Apparently it's built in to the servo unit some kind of sensor and this is what is causing the problem

Has anyone had this problem before seen alot of DSC faults but can't see one that says it was the brake servo??

Also does anyone know where I'd get my part number off it? It does have a sticker on the top but have been told thats not the part number???

Bit lost as I'm new to Jags

Hi Gav, I am a newbe to Jaguar as well and have just bought a 2.7 diesel. When i first saw the car it had abs,dsc warning light the garage changed the abs sensor on rear,lights out running fine,hope this helps. Mike
