I have recently aquired my first Jaguar, a 2002 S Type and boy oh boy am I pleased with it. It is a joy to drive, I have never had an automatic before and have found it so easy, I am now enjoying driving again and the ride is superb. Anyone who reads this and is contemplating buying a Jag I would say to them "go for it" get the right car and you will not regret it, but make sure you do not pick up a "nail" or it could turn out expensive. I am looking forward to particpating in the Forums, but initially mainly reading them as I am a Jaguar novice and feel the only advice I can give at the moment is what I have offered here. Looking forward to enjoying my S Type and being a member of the Jaguar Owners Club. Geoff.

Welcome to the club, your words sound just like mine. Been driving Pugs all my live and have recently bought an S-Type and I'm loving it. It's my first automatic (owned) so my left hand doesn't know what to do with all the spare time when driving.
