Hi all

Have a 2001 S type and the very annoying central locking which auto locks when driving away wont unlock when trying to get out of the car after parking and taking the key out. No chance of getting out of the car with the engine still running. Having to remove the key and unlock the car with the remote is causing problems as its used along side my XJ6 as a wedding car and letting people out is a pain when you hav to stop the car and unlock with the remote while the people in the back are waiting for you to open the doors to get out yourself even before you can open the door for them. Question is are there any common faults with the door lock or door module causing this. Jaguar can deactivate the auto locking but i'd rather the car stay as it should be. Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks

I am collecting a v plate s type with this same issue, will be interested to see if you get it sorted, does your car suffer with flat batteries as well?.
