Hi guys,

just a quick introduction, bought my first Jag in March, a 51plate X-Type which turned out to be a complete pig, major MOT failure, lucky enough i got my money back as it had a cracking private plate, and some very expensive alloys, so I decided to buy an S and I have not been dissapointed, 3.0 Litres of pure luxury, and a great tow-car for my caravan. Pics will follow soon.

Thanks guys look forward to interacting with you in the forum.

Hello All!

Had to give up on bikes due to a knackered knee. Bought a 2006 S type 2.7D on Saturday. Still smiling. I didn't know a car could be this good! It does have high miles (139,000) but impeccable service history so I took the chance. I guess the next few weeks will decided if I am right or wrong to have bought it. Other than the high miles it is completely immaculate.

Hi Bob, welcome to the forum, love the car, I've a S-Type V8 and I'm very happy with it. Didn't realise they pulled caravans (wasn't in the brochure ;) ) Happy motoring, Dave
