Buying x type 3.0 se tomorrow

Hi , I'm going to buy a 2001 jaguar x type 3.0 se tomorrow .

Is there any advice you guys can give me , what to look out for and check etc.

From the advertised pictures , it looks like the part that stops the door opening to much looks like the paint is bubbled , is this common ?

unsure if that is common, but the sills are, as are dodgy transfer boxes and bad rubber parts, a good service history is a must as ever and look out for rust any where as if there is some there will be more i expect.
