CD/Radio/Cassette player + cell phone bracket

Featured Replies

Guys,

my very first 'post' concerns my 2004 x-type jag. it was an ex-chauffered car so the owner had a fascia cd (etc) fitted that contains a CD player (with multi changer in boot), a cassette player, a poor radio and an ugly cell phone bracket wired up for monstrosities when cell phones were huge.

it's an ugly eyesore and i want it out. as i don't like the CD player not being able to read mp3 or have a USB connection, i want to know if i can fit a direct replacement unit ?

does anybody recommend anybody in or around Central Scotland where i live ?

if the answer is 'NO', can anyone tell me how to isolate and remove the phone bracket
