Hello ladies and gentlemen.  I have just joined your club because I own a beautiful white XJS.  What prompted me to join is because I have just followed a lovely red XJS along the Wragby Road in Lincoln.  Is this driver a member?

Hi Susan,

Welcome to the Club and the Forum :P

I hope you put some photos up of your White XJS :P

Regards,

Thanks for the welcome Mr D.  My husband had it for 20 years, but he died a year ago, and since I couldn't get a decent price for it, I decided to keep it.  Sorn it in the winter, but take it for a few drives in the summer.  Just love it.  It's just passed it's MOT, with no advisories.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss :(

Clearly it's not a problem with your settings - seems to be sorted now :)

First time I took it out, I was really "posing".  Parked it where everybody could see me.  Then, it wouldn't go.  So called the RAC, which I had only joined a week before.  They came out very promptly, and to really put me down, all he did was take off the hand brake!!!!  I'm not used to an automatic, and I really made a fool of myself in front of a lot of friends!!!  Serves me right.   But I still love it.

I think with such a gorgeous car you are obliged to go an pose :) , it's mandatory!!  Just a shame about the hand-brake (the only saving grace - you'll never have that problem again!)

While not as striking as yours, my green S-Type turns heads - it likes the attention :D
