hi i have a v reg jaguar s type 3.0 v6 petrol and i have a little annoying problem which is with the alarm when i press the fob to lock it it locks it and unlock it straight away can anybody help please

You have a faulty door latch.

When locking the car, watch the inside handles. The top section should close in on them all when locking. The latch causing your problem will not.

Replace the latch and it will be ok.

Commonly it is one of the fronts.

it is what you said about it it s my front door latch, if i push it from the passengers side then it works no problem
