ABS Sensors need a clean / some attention I exepct

Hi Mac, I replied to your query on this in the "Members Only" forum and suggested it may be a sticking brake caliper, I assume as you have reposted the question here that was not the case. It is then probably as "harpersimon" states a sensor problem, maybe one of the speed sensors. If so you will need to have a diagnostic check done on the fault (as I assume you have cleaned all around the calipers etc. from the action you said you were going to take in the "Members Only" forum) to determine what it is and which sensor it is. If you go to Jaguar to get this done it will cost in total in excess of £250.00 for the check and to replace any offending sensor, the check alone is £40 odd quid. So if you know of a good independant you can trust to do this go to them, it still won't be cheap, but cheaper than a main dealer. Good luck with it mate, I hope it turns out to be something and nothing, the check is the first step to find out, best wishes Geoff.
