Fifth Jag (on and off) in 30 years.

They've all been splendid, and current models for their time, but the XF knocks the rest into a cocked hat.

Hi Anthony,

Welcome to the forum, what other Jags have you owned?

Best regards,

Dave

Hi,

Back in the 70s I had an XJS V12 manual  (a rare beast). In the 80s an XJ 3 series, a proper limo. In the 90s a4.0 saloon, then in 2009 an XF 3.0S and now an XFR.

I bet the XFR is pretty awesome to drive, what size engine does it have?

The XFR has the iitre supercharged engine. All my pals have driven it and not one has been left anything other than stunned and with the widest of grins on their face.

Its performance, especially in the all important 50 to 70mph range, is amazing. The quality of the ride, when one's not pressing on, belies its power.
