Me again. I'll try again. I have the DSC warning light comes up on starting the car and goes out after a few seconds.

I have just had new discs and pads fitted and am going to fit new calipers  soon.

Has anyone any ideas on why this light comes on.

Thanks.

Hi Footloose, mine does this also. It is normal. I had it MOT'd (by VW, don't ask long story) and they failed it. I explained the error of their ways and they contacted the Jaguar dealership down the road who confirmed it was normal and just the way the light gives you a visual check.

I have a Jaguar XF year 2010. 1st time I’ve had DSC not available come on. I started car twice to go places this & the 3rd time (all within 1/2 hour) this warning came on. I’ve driven about 10 miles with it on constantly. The DSC light is on constant. Do I continue with journey?
