Thought I'd say hi and thanks to Mr Barnes for recommending me the forum. Last week I bought my first Jag - 2006 Diesel X-Type. Just had it valeted on Monday, isn't it weird how they drive even nicer after they're clean?

 

Doesn't have too many bells and whistles - just the way I like it. Massively impressed by the quality of leather and how the turbo wakes it up on acceleration.

 

Anyone know if the S model has all wheel or front wheel drive because I couldn't find it in my Jag handbook?

Welcome to the forum and Jag ownership, you'll have to take a couple of phots (especially after the car has just been valeted) and post here for everyone to oggle you're pride and joy.

 

Personally I don't know too much about the X-Types, so I'll leave other members to answer your question on the drive issue - what I do know the first X-Types were AWD and in 2003 front wheel drive was introduced - not sure exactly which models though
