Hi guys anyone had the problem while towing , I was around whitby after going up a lot of hills which were fairly steep my temp went into the red with a warning light I stopped and drove on after a few mins it then was in the normal eventually is this normal or should I be worried, the water level was ok , thanks any replies, mick.

I would monitor it for a while and if it doesn't occur again then maybe put it down to the strain on the engine?

Thanks for replying I came back towing caravan this time no probs? Must have been results from long up hill drag for about mile around whitby cheers.

First thought is that its the thermostat. I had the same problem. Changing the thermostst with a genuine Jaguar thermostst solved the problem for me.
