Hi Forum!

I have just got a lovely 2001 (X)  S-Type 3.0 V6. It has the Jaguar branded Motorola Startac mobile phone fitted. The phone powers up but does not pick up a signal when I insert an O2 or Vodafone SIM card. I have picked up another Jaguar branded Startac phone which the seller states will fit an S-Type but unfortunately this seems different. The phone is slightly larger, has a different shape to the bottom, and does not fit in the cradle under the armrest.

Any help, advice or assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi....and welcome to the club !

I'm not sure what could be the problem with the phone not picking up a signal...sounds as though the phone is faulty.

Hopefully some other clubs members may have a solution for you?

Regards    Trevor
