Hi all,

 

I joined jaguar owners club around 2 years ago when I got my first 'classic' jaguar. I posted here only once with a story about my dad having worked at the Jaguar factory in Coventry and a nostalgia vibe. Since then, that XJ6-XJ40 (1990) was reversed into by another driver, replaced with a 3.6Ltr XJ6 Soveriegn 1989 which I spent a fortune restoring, and then sold at a painfully low price when I left england to move to Texas USA for work. 

 

I bought an XJ6 (1996) here in Texas, one of the last models to roll off of the Coventry factory lines before Ford got involved. I've since spent the 18 months restoring this XJ6 - which has been the most troubling of them all so far! I also got married to a Texan back in October, so I'm staying here and keeping the Jag for better and for worse. 

 

So, I'll shortly find some pictures of the new Jag to upload here.  I just wanted to reintroduce myself as I've not been an overly active member of this community in the past 2 years.

It's great to hear that you have stayed loyal to the Jaguar brand in all this time.

Hope the running repairs don't present any problems as you're Stateside ?
