    Just got my first jag two weeks ago 2005 x-type 2.1 it’s nowhere near as powerful as my 2007 Ford falcon but I’m loving the ride and the fwd! Takes a bit of getting used to the indicators and window wipers on opposite sides though 😝

    2009 models aren't affected. It's only those of us with X250 Facelift models that have to worry. About 2011 to 2015. Also there are settings savers that feed a low voltage current via the OBD11 socket that may prevent the problem. Apparently the modules only need around 3-4 volts to retain their settings.

    Probably cheaper than having to drive to a garage that has Autologic and then the cost of correcting the central locking if you do not have a slave battery.
