Having found a great mechanic who resolved my problem i.e. split hose as previously posted, I booked the car in for a pre check prior to MOT. I was informed on my previous visit that the steering geometry required resetting. After a thorough check he found that two other exhaust gas hoses were on the brink of failing so were replaced. I had also had trouble with the drivers door failing to open after initial unlocking, probably worked 1or 2 attempts in 10, he located a refurbished mechanism for a fraction of the cost of a Jaguar replacement and all is well. Car passed the MOT and fingers crossed I can enjoy 12 months of trouble free motoring. Nearly forgot he also replaced the tyres as in Poland it is now illegal to drive without winter tyres also giv ethe guy credit he offered to store my summer tyres ensuring he gets repeat custom 🤣did not need too as the quality of work ensured that.
